You can create projects in Building Connected to easily manage your pre-construction process, store project information, and invite subcontractors to bid.
Here are a few helpful links to Building Connected articles to get you started and there are plenty more on their site for additional help, just click on any of the links below to access their guides.

  • How to Create a Project - You can create projects in Building Connected to easily manage your pre-construction process, store project information, and invite subcontractors to bid.

  • Publish a Project in Building Connected - Once you have created a project, added bid packages, uploaded files, and added bidders, you are ready to publish your project. In order to preserve records and minimize subcontractor confusion, it is not possible to unpublish a project or bid package after it has been published, so make sure you are ready to publish before proceeding to the link for instructions.

  • How to Close a Project - If you have completed the bidding process for a project, you can close the project on Building Connected to prevent subcontractors from submitting bids, submitting revisions, and sending messages.

  • How to notify your Subs on a Lost Job - You win some and you Lose some. When you close a project that is competitively bid, there is a prompt to mark whether you have won or not won that project. When you mark a project as "Lost", you can then choose to optionally send an email to notify your subcontractors that the project is closed.
