Remove a Project Folder from Outlook

Remove Project Email Folder to Outlook:

 

  1. Open Outlook – go to File

     
  2. Click Account Settings > drop down menu > Select Account Settings…





     
  3. Email Accounts Window Box will pop up. Under the Email Tab > Double-click on your Winter Email Address.

     
  4. Exchange Account Settings Window will pop up > Click on More Settings on the bottom left of window.

     
  5. Microsoft Exchange Window will pop up > Click on the Advanced Tab > Select Job Number you wish to have removed> Click on Remove button
    *Note* If you do not see any job numbers listed then you will need to put in an IT ticket to have the delegation for the job you are trying to remove cleared out by IT.

  6. Microsoft Outlook Window will pop up > Confirm that you want to remove the mailbox > Click Yes

     
     
  7. You should now see the job number removed from the Mailboxes List. Once you confirmed it is removed, then click Apply and OK at the bottom of the Microsoft Exchange Window.


     
  8. You will return to the Exchange Account Settings Window > Click on Next to update your Outlook then Done
     
  9. Click Close on the Email Accounts Window to return to your Outlook Inbox
     
  10. Scroll down left side panel of folders below your Inbox > Mailbox should be removed- If it is still showing, close Outlook and reopen to refresh your Outlook
